The Unchained At Last event on March 14, 2024 where Crime Junkie's Ashley Flowers talks with American survivors of forced and child marriage, at the parallel event to the United Nations Commission of the Status of Women was a huge success! There were over 300 attendees on Zoom and many in person at the United Nations Church Center at 777 United Nations Plaza.

It was amazing being on the same stage again as Unchained At Last's founder Fraidy Reiss, as well as Ashley Flowers from Crime Junkies Podcast, Houry Geudelekian past Chair of NGO CSW/NY and Chani Getter of Footsteps.
We all spoke about how forced marriage is definitely a true crime in every definition and we all have to play our part in ending this human rights abuse.
